An anonymous person vandalized the shop window of the tattoo parlor Ural Hilli on Heleni Street in the center of the capital • "Today is a mascara, tomorrow it is a knife"

An anonymous man arrived last night (Tuesday) at the tattoo parlor of Ural Hillel on Helena Street in downtown Jerusalem, and after noticing that there was a sign on the glass window identified with the Latvian community, he wrote in black ink on the window "Gays in the trash." On the window is a sheet of paper with the same caption.

The entire incident was recorded on the studio's security cameras, which were obtained by Israel Today.

Hilli's store, one of the leading and well-known tattoo parlors in Jerusalem, is located right in front of the entrance to the capital district of the Jerusalem District Police - which did not deter the offender from committing this hate crime.

When Hillary recently arrived at her studio to start her work day, she was stunned by the abusive graffiti and plans to approach the adjacent police station soon and file a complaint.

Hate crime in the center of the capital,

"I received the morning with a smile, stunning weather and in one second the smile was erased and fear settled on my chest," she told Israel Today.

"It's a terrible feeling. The ease with which people allow themselves to underestimate the lives of people who are different from them. I was just thinking about the late Shira Banki, how easily was she murdered and what has changed since then?

"Today he pulled out a marker, tomorrow he can pull out a knife."

"Of course I'm also very angry. I'm angry that in 2021 people are still dealing with unnecessary hatred and think that in the name of one belief or another they are better or more equal. I expect the Israeli police to prosecute people like him to prevent the next attack or the next murder. ".
