Hundreds of police officers from the Negev region and other forces set out today (Wednesday) for an operation aimed at eradicating crime in the Bedouin sector.

The police, under the command of the Negev Region Commander, are conducting raids on intelligence targets that include attempted seizure of weapons, drugs, economic crime and more



. This is in addition to routine activities in which 35,500 weapons have been seized since the beginning of the year, including 2,200 rifles and more than 750 pistols.
