The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced today that the Iraqi army's air force destroyed a hideout for ISIS terrorists in the Tuz Khurmatu area of Salah al-Din Governorate in central Iraq.
A statement by the cell, carried by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "under the supervision of the Joint Operations Command, the air force carried out three strikes in the Tuz Khurmatu area," explaining that "the operation resulted in the destruction of a cave and a tunnel for ISIS terrorist gangs."
Yesterday, the Iraqi forces announced the launch of the first phase of Operation “Burq Al-Samaa” to hunt down the remnants of the terrorist organization “ISIS” in several areas.
