Iranian Atomic Energy Organization spokesman Behrouz Kamalvandi announced today that Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have agreed to continue cooperation and continue consultations between them.
On the results of the visit of the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, to Tehran, Kamalvandi said, "The talks took place in a constructive atmosphere, and the two sides reached general agreements regarding how to pursue issues of common interest."
Yesterday, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian affirmed his country's serious will for constructive interaction with the International Atomic Energy Agency within the framework of the Safeguards Agreement.
Grossi arrived in Tehran the day before yesterday to hold talks with Iranian officials on a number of issues related to Iran's nuclear program.
