Habach - The community of Habach is building a building yard.

The start is to be in 2022 in the “Mühltal” industrial park.

The municipal council unanimously approved the building application.

The need for a new building is necessary, says Habach's Mayor Michael Strobl.

Because the municipal building yard ekes out an existence without a real home.

Equipment is stored in the warehouse next to the fire station and village shop.

"Other devices are distributed in several stalls," sighs the town hall chief about the conditions.

"Now that's not the real thing.

It should all be together. "

For this reason, the municipality has brought the Bad Kohlgruber office Laubender Architektur on board.

The planners are familiar with municipal developers: The Kohlgruber were responsible for the renovation of the Lampl farmhouse and the town hall in Bad Bayersoien.

In Habach they are planning a building yard on two parcels in the “Mühltal” industrial park.

The approximately 2700 square meters are owned by the municipality.

An ideal location for the mayor: “It's between the two districts”, says Strobl - both Habach and Dürnhausen can be easily reached without using the B472.

Workrooms and silos

The project includes a building yard with two grit silos, an auxiliary building and a vehicle washing area.

The building, which has no basement and is 29 by 14.20 meters, is to have a ridge height of 8.75 meters and a gable roof.

Workrooms are planned on the ground floor and administration and staff rooms on the upper floor.

A workshop with a garage and an unheated 14-meter-long multi-purpose hall are also being considered.

Cost: 1.5 to 2 million euros

The mayor wants to start construction next year.

There are no concrete figures yet, the current cost estimate is between 1.5 and 2 million euros, according to Strobl.

Habach's town hall chief already knows one thing: there are no state subsidies.

The building yard building application is on this Thursday (November 25th) again topic in the municipal council (7.30 p.m., town hall): According to the mayor, it is about improvements to the planned silos and the vehicle washing area.
