In North Rhine-Westphalia, preparations for corona vaccinations in the age group of six to twelve year olds are to start.
Approval of vaccines for this age group by the European Medicines Agency can be expected shortly, said NRW Health Minister Karl-Josef Laumann (CDU) on Wednesday in the Düsseldorf state parliament.
Düsseldorf - These vaccines are expected to be delivered from December 20th.
He will ask the vaccination centers to start preparing offers for six to twelve year olds.

The German Association of Cities in North Rhine-Westphalia has asked the state to pay for the planned communal vaccination centers.
Managing director Helmut Dedy told the "Rheinische Post" (Tuesday) that the establishment of permanent vaccination centers would be promoted.
"We have to oppose the corona infections that are currently galloping again: The cities will comply with the state's wishes and set up communal vaccination centers."
