Their target, a 35-year-old animator, was punched and then dragged out of school by these individuals to be assaulted again, as was the father of one student, who tried to assist him. .

Both only suffered minor injuries, the radio said, but children witnessed the rain of beatings.

The local media Metropolitan adds that the two men were taken care of by the firefighters, before being admitted to the emergency room.

An investigation was opened in the wake and entrusted to the departmental security of Hérault.

"Intolerable to allow violence to enter the school"

In reaction, a hundred parents gathered on Tuesday, while animators decided not to work.

The president of the parents' association said she wanted to mark "the occasion because it is completely intolerable to allow violence to enter the school".

For her part, Fanny Dombre-Coste, the first deputy mayor in charge of school affairs in Montpellier, spoke of the deployment of several psychologists, as well as a reinforcement of municipal police officers at the time of entry and exit of children in front of the school. .
