The New Zealand government announced today that it will reopen its borders in the coming months, allowing the return of vaccinated New Zealanders and foreign travelers in the coming months, in order to ease travel restrictions imposed since the outbreak of the Corona pandemic in March last year.
“New Zealanders who have fully received the vaccine and are in Australia can return to the country without the need to enter into quarantine from January 16, and foreign travelers who have Fully vaccinated against the Corona virus, they can enter the country starting from the 30th of next April.”
"New Zealanders who have been fully vaccinated and other travelers from all other countries can start traveling to New Zealand without quarantine from February 13 as well," Hepkins added.
Thousands of people demonstrated this month near the New Zealand Parliament to protest against government measures imposed to confront the Corona virus, such as mandatory vaccination and government shutdown.
