The non-party voter group (PWG) continues to see itself as a driving force in Pöcking.
That was the key message in the statement of accounts of the old and new chairman Albert Luppart at the annual meeting on Monday evening in the Beccult room.

- "Our motto 'We move' was not chosen without a reason," Luppart emphasized. The PWG has been the mayor for more than 60 years and has had a strong “man and woman” in the local council for years. However, it was always the PWG's strength to involve all of the municipal council's forces, regardless of the grouping. Because there is only one goal, according to Luppart: "The well-being and prosperous future of Pöcking and its districts."
The local elections were also successful, said Luppart. The group was able to collect around 3,000 votes more than in 2014. He named the creation of affordable housing as future projects. The communal residential buildings on Kinibauerweg would be brought up to date with the latest energetic standards and another residential building was planned there. Further properties are planned for “Am Bründl” as well as on Franziska-Günther-Straße and Römerstraße on the site of the previous sports center.
Luppart hopes that the redesign of Raiffeisenplatz will continue in the coming year.
After an investor left, a successor was found.
“Closing the gap in local development and creating a beautiful center in this popular square” should be the goal.
There are many inquiries from Fieranten who have expressed interest in expanding the small market in front of the former pharmacy.
Mayor Rainer Schnitzler added two aspects to the community's future list: the new fire stations in Pöcking and Maising and climate protection.
“When I wander through the town, I see a lot of free roofs that could still be equipped with photovoltaics,” he appealed to the support of the population.
The mayor presided over the election of the board.
The re-elected Albert Luppart as chairman was unanimously appointed as deputies with abstention from the elected Jan Linnemann (as before) as well as Benjamin Mandlmeier, Dominik Hey and Caroline Nicklisch (all new).
Florian (finance) and Stephan Grünbeck (secretary) were no longer running for election.
Grünbeck will continue his popular picture puzzle "Do you know your home town of Pöcking and its districts?"
The board of directors is completed by the advisory boards Walter Erhard, Kevin Anton and Oliver Eiter.
Klaus Eppinger and Christian Zingraff continue to act as cash auditors.
