Singer David Draiman, lead singer of the band Distraved, will be visiting Israel soon.
In a post he posted today (Wednesday) to his Instagram account, the veteran musician wrote: "I intend to go to the Western Wall. I am going to light a candle where the Hamas terrorist attack took place. On November 30, 2021 at 11 am. Join me. We can not be deterred. We We are not going anywhere. "
The dramatic statement was accompanied by the hashtag "Am Yisrael Chai" and a picture of Draiman from a performance, painted with the flag of the State of Israel.

Draiman, 48, is a proud American Jew with a strong connection to the State of Israel.
According to him, he has visited Israel in the past (even before the show he and his band held here in the summer of 2019 at Live Park in Rishon Lezion), and his family has roots in Israel even before the establishment of the state.
In an interview with "Israel Today" two and a half years ago, he said that his grandparents served in the Haganah and that his grandfather was the editor-in-chief of the "HaModi'a" newspaper.
In the past year, the singer has published several posts dealing with Israel.
Among other things, during Operation The Wall Guard in May, he wrote, "They have taken a stand against anti-Semitism. Jews around the world are experiencing a 500 percent increase in assaults. Show us that the lives of Jews are considered."
Alongside this he also criticized those he defines as his people, for their participation in the riots in the cities involved.
