The Russian Direct Investment Fund announced that the governments of San Marino and Laos have agreed to use the Russian single-dose vaccine, Sputnik Lite, against the Corona virus.
And the Russia Today channel website quoted the CEO of the fund, Kirill Dmitriev, as saying, “In the two mentioned countries, it was approved to use the Sputnik Lite vaccine as a single vaccination to enhance the effect of all other vaccines.” He added, “We record more countries that agree to use this vaccine, as Laos has become the 20th country to approve Sputnik Lite".
For his part, San Marino Minister of Health and Social Welfare Roberto Chavata confirmed that his country is negotiating with Russia to buy a batch of Sputnik Lite for the third dose, noting that his country is in the negotiation stage and that it will end within two weeks.
According to the data of the Russian Investment Fund, the effectiveness of (Sputnik V) in San Marino recorded the best result among all the vaccines used in the mentioned country.
