The activities of the Omar Abu Risha Festival, the course of Dr. Ali Al-Nasser, were launched in Aleppo today, as part of the activities of the Syrian Culture Days, amid a wide presence of those interested in cultural affairs.
The festival, whose activities are hosted by Tishreen Art Gallery, includes, according to Jaber Al-Sajour, Director of Culture in Aleppo, a number of sessions and events that express the depth of Syrian culture and shed light on one of the flags of the city of Aleppo in the literary and cultural field.
In the first session, Dr. Fayez Al-Daya dealt with the dramatic aspect of the poet Al-Nasser and his narrative, lyric and poetic production, and its impact on the literary environment in the city of Aleppo, as he was one of the first pioneers, illuminating a group of aspects that the poet experienced, expanding by studying the cultural environment for him in that era.
While Dr. Batoul Daraw spoke, in the second session, about the pioneering role of the history of the Nasser poet, as he was the first to write the poem “Al-Tafi’ila” before the Nazik Al-Malaika stage, and he was a pioneer in many literary genres in the prose poem, the surreal experience, and other narrative stories.
The writer Muhammad Abu Maatouq explained the importance of this poet's literary productions, trying to explore the accumulated culture within his literary text, because he was found in the era of poets giants such as Omar Abu Risha and Nizar Qabbani.
