The Russian Space Agency, Roscosmos, today launched a Progress M cargo ship to the International Space Station.
"The missile carrying a Progress M cargo vehicle was launched to the international station at the planned time," Sputnik news agency quoted sources in "Roskosmos" as saying.
The agency noted that the missile was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
She added that the main objective of the launch is to transfer some parts and equipment to the International Station to carry out periodic repairs, especially with regard to solar panels and installed antennas.
