The human mind's view of mythology (mythology) and the history of religions to reach the secrets of knowledge were the focus of the intellectual symposium with the researcher and thinker Firas Al-Sawah and an audience of Homs intellectuals on the pulpit of the cultural center in the city.

Al-Sawah asked his interlocutors in the symposium organized by the branch of the Arab Writers Union in Homs in cooperation with the governorate questions about the origin of the universe, religion and other intellectual issues that leave the door open for discussing these issues, indicating that he relied in his books and research on the easy method that enabled him to open the box of the mind and incite him to think. His books were open-ended to questions that might also be the beginning of the book itself.

Al-Sawah believes that reaching the recipient requires getting rid of academic formulas and avoiding what happened to academics and philosophers who confined their thought to the ideas of their colleagues in their writings, so their academic language was copied from them.

Al-Sawah adopts the theory that history is scientific with its methods, assuming its results, downplaying the importance of any book that does not use the scientific method, and that mutual dialogue is the basis, stressing that its project is a dialogue.

Through his readings and research, Al-Sawah found that geneticists genetically reached the idea that the human soul is inclined to religiosity, and this idea was one of the premises on which he based his research and studies.

The symposium witnessed the interaction of the audience, who directed his questions to the tourist thinker to benefit from his ideas and opinions on culture and knowledge.

At the end of the symposium, Dr. Muhammad Al-Hourani, head of the Arab Writers Union, presented the tourist thinker with an honorary shield in appreciation of his efforts in his research and intellectual productions. Building a national culture.

The writer Omaima Ibrahim, head of the Homs Book Branch, found that the researcher Al-Sawah worked on what he presented in a neutral, objective and scientific manner without bias and presented different visions.

The seminar, which was moderated by researcher Attia Masouh, Eng. Bassam Parsik, Governor of Homs, Hassan Al-Labbad, Director of Homs Culture, and an audience of intellectuals and academics attended.

It should be noted that al-Sawah was born in Homs in 1940. He is a thinker and researcher in mythology and the history of religions. He worked as a professor at the Beijing University of Foreign Studies and then studied Arab civilization and the history of religions in the Middle East.

Tourists, who is a member of the Union of Arab Writers in Syria and Arab writers and writers, have dozens of books and research papers and hundreds of articles and interviews, both Arab and international.
