The High Court and the District Court received two suspicious letters yesterday (23). Court staff reported the case for help after they were discovered. The recipients were Chen Zhongheng, Deputy Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court and Li Qingnian, District Court Judge.

The police later dispatched explosives disposal personnel to the scene to deal with it. After inspection, it was believed that the letter contained no dangerous ingredients.

It is understood that the suspicious letter may have been sent from Taiwan. Last night, a person who claimed to have been in exile in Taiwan published the contents of the letter on the Telegram channel and admitted responsibility.

Checking the channel’s past remarks is also suspected to be related to the past incidents of judges receiving threatening letters.

According to sources, the High Court and the District Court received two suspicious letters yesterday, both of which were brown envelopes.

Each letter contained about 1 teaspoon of brown meat powder, meat sauce-like objects, and a note with "HOP FOON HAY IS WATCHING YOU."

At 8 o'clock last night, a channel called "He Huanxi-Daily Exile in Taiwan 6.0" on Telegram uploaded a photo of a suspicious letter. In the picture, you can see a note with "HOR FOON-HAY IS WATCHING YOU." next to it. There is a piece of suspected raw meat.

The Telegram channel continued: "35% off expired beef is special game?", the next section has a hashtag, He Huanxi.

Afterwards, the "He Huanxi-Daily Exile in Taiwan 4.0" channel intercepted yesterday's news report about the court's receipt of suspicious letters, and wrote: "Yesri News #何欢喜# admits responsibility", publicly admitting responsibility for this matter.

Check the "He Huanxi-Daily Exile in Taiwan" channel and its past posts on Instagram. The channel was set up in early April this year. At that time, the channel administrator said it was due to exile after the battle of PolyU.

On November 12 and 16, the channel also publicly admitted that it had sent letters containing the powder of brothers to the deputy judge Zhang Jieyi and the establishment member Gao Songjie.

The Department of Justice issued a statement last night sternly condemning the incident, criticizing the intimidation of judges and judicial personnel for the despicable and outrageous behavior.

The Department of Justice continued that there are signs of intensification of the relevant actions in recent days, stressing that the relevant evils will not be tolerated, and law enforcement agencies must actively follow up and bring criminals to justice.
