USA look forward to working with new federal government

The US government wants to revive the transatlantic partnership with the SPD, Greens and FDP. One expects "incredibly close and effective" relations with Germany in the future too.

After the SPD, Greens and FDP agreed on a coalition agreement, the US government reaffirmed its will to work with the future federal government.

The US would also expect "incredibly close and effective" relations with Germany in the future, a spokesman for the US State Department said on Wednesday.
