With its biodegradable and multitasking Marseille soap, the Savonnerie du Midi has won over sailors

A partnership with the Transat Jacques Vabre for a collector's series of 5,000 cubes of Marseille soap and another with the French Navy for shampoos, soap and shower gel in the name of "Fresh foam" and with the scent of sea fennel ... Located in the northern districts of Marseille, the Savonnerie du Midi, created in 1894, is setting off its flagship brand "La Corvette".

A living heritage company, it has won over these two maritime institutions, with their soap equipping the trousseau of the Transat skippers, but also the messes, sailors' homes and the shelves of the online store of the French Navy where it sells branded products.

Biodegradable, it preserves the aquatic environment

"This first sea soap for sailors was attractive because it is biodegradable and preserves the aquatic environment", rejoices Guillaume Fievet, the general manager of this company which has grown from 15 to 40 employees in six years and which exports around 30. de pays its Marseille soap respecting the traditional recipe.
