The women's volleyball team Hapoel Kfar Saba defeated "Krim" Ljubljana 0: 3 tonight (Wednesday), thus completing a double victory over the Slovenians and qualifying for the quarterfinals of the European Challenge Cup.
In the quarterfinals, Hapoel Kfar Saba will face a rival from Romania in the battle for promotion to the quarterfinals.
The first match will be played in Romania from December 7 to 9, and the rematch in the country a week later.
So far, Hapoel Kfar Saba has won all four of its games in the Challenge Cup against rivals from Latvia and Slovenia.
Kfar Saba under the guidance of coach Elad Spegett came to Ljubljana with a home win in three sets, and knew that in order to continue in the factory she had to win reciprocally as well.
Her foreign actresses contributed a lot to the victory.
The team came determined and in the first set won unconditionally 15:25.
In the second set the Slovenians gave a fight, but Hannah Kotora and Gina Lopez led the Greens to another victory 20:25.
Encouraged by her promising advantage in the first two sets, Kfar Saba continued its momentum in the third set as well, and did not allow its opponent to return to the game.
The third set ended in a crushing victory, 13:25, and ended 0: 3 in the sets for Hapoel Kfar Saba, which will continue for a warm European winter in the Challenge Cup.
