Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that Sweden's Foreign Minister, current head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, "Anne Lind", "distorted" the main topics of her talks with Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

The Russia Today website quoted Zakharova as saying, “Lind announced that she is visiting Moscow mainly in her capacity as the current head of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, to discuss current issues related to the organization’s activities, with a focus on preparing for the Ministerial Council meeting in Stockholm on the 2nd and 3rd of next December, but it is later She declared that the main topics of negotiations with Lavrov were completely different issues such as the migration crisis at the Polish-Belarus border and the activity of foreign agents in Russia.

Zakharova explained that this would negatively affect the overall "Swedish presidency results" in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

Lavrov had confirmed during his meeting with Lind in Moscow on the 19th of this month that Russia would not turn a blind eye to the blunt provocations of NATO and the European Union in Ukraine.
