A 32-year-old scaffolder who installed a dog boom on the outer wall of Yuen Long Building fell off the building and was killed in hospital

The police received a report from a worker working at the above site, stating that a male colleague was found lying on the platform, suspected of slipping and falling during the installation of the dog boom.

Police officers and ambulancemen arrived at the scene and found that the victim was unconscious and immediately sent him to the hospital for emergency treatment, but he died eventually.

The deceased was 32-year-old with his surname Huang and was a scaffolding worker.

The scene was Block A, Fidelity Plaza, 23 Xijing Street.

According to sources, a unit on the 6th floor of the building was vacant and undergoing renovation works. At the time of the incident, four workers returned to the relevant unit after lunch to continue the work. During the incident, Huang installed a dog boom on the outer wall.
