Police arrested a kindergarten teacher in Petah Tikva yesterday (Wednesday), in her 60s, on suspicion of harming helpless minors.
In an investigation that began after receiving a complaint from parents of toddlers from kindergarten, suspicion arose that the aide was pushing a number of toddlers.
According to the needs of the investigation and its findings, the police brought the suspect this morning for a hearing in the Magistrate's Court in Petah Tikva, which ruled on her release under house arrest until Monday.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
Earlier today, in the Nazareth Magistrate's Court, Lilach Amsalem, an aide to Magen Gilbi in Afula, sentenced Afula to three months of community service, after being convicted of assaulting four toddlers.
In July 2019, a complaint was filed with the Afula police after the mothers saw in the kindergarten cameras how she behaves violently towards the children.
The prosecution filed an indictment, and at the end of September the aide admitted and was convicted of assault offenses.
