A strange, older man speaks to several children.
In the middle of Markt Schwaben.
Bad intention or not?
The Poing police want to find out now.
Markt Schwaben
- Mysterious story: On Wednesday around 1:20 p.m., two 7- and 9-year-old schoolchildren from Markt Schwaben were walking from the elementary school to the children's home there.
The two children were at the bus stop on Wittelsbacher Weg when they were approached by an older man with tousled gray hair, gray jacket, light gray trousers and hobbling gait, the Poing police said.
The elderly gentleman asked the children if they would like to look at his rabbits.
The students reacted exactly right, praising the police: They ignored the man and ran to the children's home, where the children reported everything to the responsible supervisors.
The man did not pursue the children, but immediately went towards the market square.
Shortly afterwards, another girl in the children's home described the same incident.
The Lord asked her if she wanted money too.
This girl also reacted correctly and ran away.
The carers immediately held appropriate awareness-raising discussions with the children.
The school management of the primary school in Markt Schwaben has also been informed and will have the same discussions with the students.
Due to the fact that the stranger approached several children one after the other on a busy public street, criminal intentions are rather unlikely, say the police.
Nevertheless, she is interested in clarifying the facts in detail.
Therefore the call for witnesses: People who have observed the incident or feel that they are being addressed directly are asked to report to the Poing Police, T. 08121/99170.
