Markt Schwaben / Poing - Several young people from Markt Schwaben are said to be behind the riots in Poing last Halloween night.

According to the Poing police station, this is the first result after interrogations and evaluations of the evidence so far.

In the night from October 31st to November 1st, a gang of thugs was hanging around in Poing.

First they attacked a group of young people in front of a fast food restaurant.

They hit them with iron bars and kicked the teenagers in the head.

Shortly afterwards, the same thugs dragged a 16-year-old from his bike onto the floor and kicked him in the head.

The 16-year-old was hospitalized with severe head injuries.

The trail led the investigators to four young people, between 14 and 17 years old, and one adolescent, it is said.

In close coordination with the Munich II public prosecutor's office and the Erding Criminal Police Inspection, the Poingen police searched several apartments in Markt Schwaben on Thursday with the support of the riot police.

According to the police, "extensive evidence" was able to be secured during the operations.

Neither the police nor the public prosecutor's office wanted to comment on the result of the large-scale police operation.

The suspects are being investigated for dangerous bodily harm and serious breach of the peace.
