The process of breaking into a riding stables near Freising is entering the next round: now an expert had the floor.

District

- The process of breaking into a riding stables near Freising in front of the regional court continues: As reported, two brothers (18 and 22) have had to answer in court since March, among other things, for attempted murder. According to the indictment, they should have broken into a property in the Freising district on February 10, 2020 and hit the waking owner on the head as they searched the bedroom for valuables. At that time, the farm owner suffered an open head trauma and a fractured skull.

Now district court doctor Dr.

Judith Hoffmann submitted a forensic-psychiatric report regarding a possible addiction disease to one of the defendants (22).

The result: According to the current state of knowledge, the Romanian cannot be assumed to have limited liability.

According to Hoffmann, the accident-free trip of the 22-year-old from Freising to his homeland on the night of the crime with allegedly four per thousand speaks against it.

(By the way: Everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)

The 22-year-old is now also represented by Landshut defender Maximilian Kaiser.

As a solo fighter, Kaiser's colleague Silvia Wunderle applied for an expert opinion on the 16th day of the negotiation.

This should prove that her client is "at least" partially culpable due to an alcohol addiction.

The 22-year-old had indicated to Hoffmann that he would have started the day with beer and cigarettes from 2019.

He also sniffed heroin for his panic attacks.

According to Dr.

Hoffmann told the accused that the criteria for alcohol and heroin addiction were present.

But there are no objective findings that would support this, said Hoffmann.

The criminal chamber now wants to ask the ex-girlfriend of the 18-year-old about his drinking habits.

The process will continue on December 2nd.

It remains to be seen whether the youth chamber will announce the verdict before Christmas or next year.
