Czech President Milos Zeman left the Prague hospital where he was being treated on Thursday, while he must appoint a new prime minister, we learned from a hospital source.
The 77-year-old left-wing head of state was hospitalized on October 10, the day after the legislative elections, in intensive care, where he remained for more than three weeks before being transferred to a convalescent unit.
He suffers from liver problems which local media claim to be linked to his alcohol consumption.

Milos Zeman has left the Prague Military University Hospital for his residence at Lany Castle, west of Prague, the hospital said in a statement.
He had accepted on November 11 the formal resignation of the government of the outgoing Prime Minister, the populist billionaire Andrej Babis, following his electoral failure and is expected to appoint center-right leader Petr Fiala as Prime Minister on Friday.

The Alliance of Three Parties, led by Petr Fiala's ODS, has formed a coalition with another alliance of two other parties - including the Pirate Party - and has a majority of 108 out of 200 seats in the new lower house of the parliament.

However, in view of the remarkable improvement in the president's condition, we respect his decision to continue exercising his constitutional activity outside of a medical structure,
”the hospital added.
