While retail and gastronomy should go on almost unmolested, his house has a whole series of requirements: 2G plus test, mask in place, distance control and housekeeping - that is, only people from one household are allowed to sit next to each other. In addition, there is a maximum occupancy rate of 25 percent: This means that a maximum of 230 visitors are allowed into the large city hall. "It's like a culture lockdown that is not decreed," says Leinweber.
He can move smaller events to the city hall.
Concerts can also be played twice - if the artists agree.
This is not possible with theater and dance - the only option is to postpone it, as more tickets have already been sold than there are now free seats.
The ensembles are on tour and are allowed to perform in other federal states.
In the worst case, there is a risk of contractual upheavals, fears Leinweber.
His conclusion: "It would be more honest to say that there are no cultural events going on at the moment."
Silence of light at the church
After the end for Advent in Fürstenfeld, the aggravation is the next setback.
At least the silence of light - which was already well received last year - is what they hold on to.
On the first two Advent weekends, the baroque facade of the monastery church shines brightly from Friday to Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The aim is to set a sign of life in Fürstenfeld and create a contemplative atmosphere.
There is also an almond and crêpes stand waiting for visitors.
Tests are not necessary for this.

Speaking of tests: Since the introduction of 3G in public transport and in the workplace, the demand for the rapid test station in the parking lot of the event forum has risen sharply again. The team took 850 smears on Saturday and Sunday, and the number tripled on the weekdays, reports Andreas Rothenberger, who is currently in charge of the station. “We are at the limit.” There is a lot going on, especially between 7.30 and 8.30 am. In addition to the motorists, there are also pedestrians and cyclists who then freeze and walk between the vehicles. One wants to defuse this situation.
Another test station is expected to open next Monday in the monastery threshing floor.
All non-motorized visitors can wait here in the warm.
The same applies to everyone who does not want to receive their results by e-mail but in paper form or who register on paper.
"At the parking lot there is then a pure driving line for cars and digital proof," explains Rothenberger.
Now you still have to increase staff.
The test station in Groebenzell is also to be reopened.
And in Mammendorf they are still looking for a free space.
