Mogadishu-SANA
Five people were killed and at least 15 others were injured today in a car bomb explosion near a school in the Somali capital Mogadishu.
"A car bomb exploded, and it was confirmed that five people were killed and 15 wounded, including a number of students," security official Mohamed Abdullah told AFP.
The Somali capital and other regions of the country are witnessing bombings and attacks, most of which are attributed to the extremist Al-Shabab movement linked to the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda. In March, more than 20 people were killed and dozens were wounded in a terrorist car bombing in Mogadishu.
