Miesbach - There was great excitement in class 6b of the middle school in Miesbach.

The President of the State Parliament and constituency member Ilse Aigner came to visit for a reading.

In her luggage she had a class set of children's novels from the series “The Isar Detective” with the title “Suspicion in the animal shelter”.

The author Anja Janotta was also present at the reading. For the 51-year-old who lives near Munich, “The Isar Detectives” are a very special project that the Bavarian State Parliament launched. The highlight: initiated by Aigner, the investigations take place in the Maximilianeum, the seat of the state parliament. This gives young readers a look behind the scenes and learns how politics works. "The Isar Detective" now even have their own homepage: www.isar-detektiven.de.

At the 6b in Miesbach there was an exciting reading in the classroom with roles between the two visitors.

Afterwards there was the opportunity to ask the President of the State Parliament and the author many questions - such as “What does a State President do?” And “How long does it take to write a book?”.

In addition, the students each received a copy of the “Isar Detective” - with a personal dedication from the two guests.

The children insisted on accompanying them outside, where they curiously examined the President of the State Parliament's car.
