Two men have decorated their house in Ahnatal (Kassel district) with around 70,000 lights.
But that's not the only attraction before Christmas.
Ahnatal - Shining specialty in Northern Hesse: Sascha Bärwald and Dominik Pieczko have decorated their house in Ahnatal (district of Kassel) with around 70,000 lights.
They had already decorated it for Christmas, but in this dimension for the first time last year *, says Bärwald.
"When the Christmas markets were canceled due to the Corona * pandemic, we wanted to offer people beautiful bright colors and lots of lights."
The shining children's eyes were particularly beautiful, says the 27-year-old.
Because Bärwald and Pieczko want to see them in the second winter of the pandemic, they have decorated their house even more elaborately since the beginning of October than in the previous year.
A special highlight is a ten meter high inflatable Santa Claus.
There is also a post box for letters to Santa Claus.
"If an address is given, every child should receive an answer," promises Bärwald.
