The Centre for Health Protection today (25th) announced 6 new cases of new coronary pneumonia, all of which were imported cases.
In the government’s latest mandatory testing announcement, no new confirmed person has visited the premises. However, due to the outbreak of upper respiratory tract infection or influenza-like illness in 3 schools, Ma On Shan Ling Liang Kindergarten, Hong Chi Pine Ridge No. 2 School and Shui Chuen Ao Village Christian Hong Kong Chong Zhen Society Anson Kindergarten requires mandatory testing throughout the school.
In response to the 3 cases of staying in Hong Kong during the incubation period, 5 places in Central and Tsim Sha Tsui were included in the mandatory test announcement again.
The three schools subject to compulsory testing are the Christian Tsung Tsin Hoi An Chung Kindergarten in Shui Chuen O Village, Sha Tin, Ma On Shan Ling Liang Kindergarten, and Hong Chi Song Ling No. 2 School in Tai Po. The latter two have also experienced upper respiratory infections in the past. Classes need to be suspended throughout the school, and teachers and students undergo compulsory testing.
Anyone who has been in the above three schools for more than two hours from November 12 to November 25 must be tested on or before November 27, and those who have been vaccinated against the new crown are exempt.
In response to the 3 previous imported cases that had stayed in Hong Kong during the incubation period, people who had been in 5 specified places during the specified period need to be tested again, including the Pret A Manger in Central International Finance Centre and the Hong Kong license of the Transport Department of the Admiralty Unified Centre Office, Wong Chuk Hang Recreation Ground, Ding Tai Fung, Tsim Sha Tsui Newport Centre, and Tsim Sha Tsui Star House Chao Court.
Relevant persons must be tested on or before November 27. Because the patient is involved in a variant virus and has entered the community, the person under inspection must undergo mandatory testing even if he has received the new crown vaccine.
