The Moroccan authorities decided to suspend flights for travelers to and from France, starting tomorrow, Friday, indefinitely, due to the deteriorating epidemiological situation related to the Covid-19 pandemic in some European countries.
The official Moroccan News Agency stated that a specialized ministerial committee took this decision to confront the deteriorating epidemiological situation in some European neighboring countries.
France, which includes more than one million people from the Moroccan community, announced today the strengthening of health restrictions, but without stone measures or a curfew.
In mid-November, Morocco announced strengthening its border controls to address Covid-19, with new measures that include preventing entry to arrivals from mostly European countries if they were found to be infected with the virus at the Kingdom’s airports and ports, unless they were residing there.
