The new Hyundai Elantra is presented to the Israeli audience.
This is the seventh generation of the Elantra and this time it will be marketed here only in a hybrid version.
During 2022, the marketing of the Ionic hybrid in Israel will fade and the Elantra will take its place.

The new generation of the Elantra is larger than its predecessor in every dimension and especially in the wheelbase that has grown significantly.
The design also shows a leap forward and takes the more extroverted direction, as we have seen in other Hyundai models.
The hybrid propulsion unit found here relies on a 1.6-liter gasoline engine mated to an electric motor.
The combined output stands at 139 hp and shifts to the front wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch robotic gearbox.
The Elantra is offered here in two trim levels (premium and writers) at prices ranging from NIS 148,000 to NIS 150,000.
When it comes to equipment, it seems that the writers' version offers quite a bit for a negligible addition of NIS 2,000.
The more equipped version offers a panoramic roof, wireless charging pad, LED lighting and a digital dashboard and more.
The Writers version also features a more impressive advanced safety equipment specification with full monitoring of dead areas and an exit prevention system in the event of a nearby vehicle.
Beyond these, both the base version and the slightly more expensive one, offer independent braking capability, adaptive cruise control, preventing deviation from the lane and more.
The warranty for the car is given for 5 years or 100,000 km while the battery is given a warranty for 7 years or 150,000 km.
