The police, who belong to the “crack” group of the BRF (railway network brigade), were recognized by dealers, known to the police. These modous assaulted the officials with chains, bottles, padlocks and U-locks before fleeing. An individual was arrested and taken into custody for willful violence in a meeting with a person holding public authority: Ousmane B., 26 years old, of Gabonese nationality and in an irregular situation.
Six police officers were slightly injured, suffering from bruises and open lips.
A seventh agent was transported to Lariboisière hospital: he suffers from an open fracture of the left ring finger and a suspicion of cracked or broken ribs.
He has an appointment with a surgeon for hand surgery.
A police officer has filed a complaint while the others will do so later.
