Researcher Ismail Al-Mulhim honored in the Suwayda Writers Union

The writer and researcher Ismail Al-Mulhim’s educational, intellectual and creative journey and his abundant knowledge and cultural output were the focus of the symposium organized by the branch of the Arab Writers Union in Sweida in honor of his bids.

Head of the Arab Writers Union branch in Sweida, writer Wejdan Abu Mahmoud pointed out that the union branch continues to highlight and honor writers, researchers and intellectuals who enriched cultural life with their products and giving, including the epic researcher who represents a creative stature who left his clear mark in the cultural sector.

During the symposium, a member of the Executive Office of the Writers Union, researcher Al-Arqam Al-Zoubi, noted the cultural and intellectual product of the epic, the abundance of its production, which reached more than 19 authors, and his belief in national thought, his devotion to his environment, and the place in which he was raised through his writing about the Great Syrian Revolution and its men, participating in the Sweida Encyclopedia of Syria, and studying the cultural scene in his governorate to The aspect of interest in the Palestinian cause and his sincerity in his administrative and trade union work throughout his working life.

In turn, the writer and poet Judi Al-Arbeed drew attention to the relationship that binds the epic researcher with his companions, students, lovers and culture lovers, and the importance of the books he issued educationally, intellectually and creatively, forming a historical library that the library and Arab culture are proud of.

For his part, the writer and researcher Moein Al-Amatori considered that Al-Mulhim is an encyclopedic of cultural diversity within an integrated unit with a collective mind in harmony with his environmental, intellectual and social formation, and a method and method that linked his creative career, his educational work, and his belonging to his environment.

Writer Ismail Al-Mulhim expressed in his speech his appreciation and thanks to the Writers Union for this initiative by honoring him and his happiness with the ability of the entrants to read what is going on inside him.

It is noteworthy that the writer Ismail Al-Mulhim was born in the town of Al-Mazraa in As-Suwayda Governorate in 1939, a graduate of the Teachers’ House in Damascus and the Faculty of Education at the University of Damascus. Editing the Literary Week newspaper issued by the Writers Union.

Among his books are “Private Arabism in Arab National Culture”, “The Controversy of Culture and Politics in National Thought”, “The Battle of the Farm 2 and 3 August 1925, the Epic of the White Weapon”, “The Creative Experience” and “How to Take Care of a Child and His Literature”, in addition to his contribution to writing the Sweida Encyclopedia Syria, which includes comprehensive encyclopedic information on Jabal al-Arab in all aspects of life.
