Sonthofen / Oberallgäu - In order to meet the high demand for booster vaccinations, the Oberallgäu district office is offering another special vaccination campaign together with the Johanniter Regionalverband Bayerisch-Schwaben.
On
Saturday, November 27th, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
, all those willing to be vaccinated can get vaccinated against corona in the Marktanger in Sonthofen.
They don't even have to get out of the car to do this, as the vaccinations are carried out at a
drive-in counter
. The vaccines from BioNTech and Moderna are available for the campaign. It is essential to reserve an appointment in advance.
The Oberallgäu district administrator Indra Baier-Müller made an urgent appeal to the Oberallgäu population: "The corona situation in the district is worrying. The intensive care units are full, the staff are working at their limit. In order to break the fourth wave, it is now imperative that as many people as possible get boosted against the corona virus as quickly as possible. Please use this chance to protect your own health and that of your fellow human beings! "

and bring it with you. You also need to bring your vaccination certificate and ID card with you.
Those
who wish to
vaccinate
over the age of 18 and who
would like to receive
a
booster vaccination
should note the following:
Anyone who received their second vaccination with BioNTech should wait five months before the booster vaccination.
Anyone who has received AstraZeneca twice should wait four months.
At Johnson & Johnson, the interval between the booster vaccination should be four weeks.
There will only be an entry in the vaccination card, the QR code for the electronic vaccination card must be issued in a pharmacy.
The

It takes place exclusively via Hindelanger Strasse in Hofener Strasse.
This section of the street will be closed to through traffic for the duration of the action.
