Because this chaotic day should have been… historic.
Magdalena Andersson, 54, was first elected prime minister.
An unprecedented fact for a woman in Sweden, a hundred years after the country granted them the right to vote, and years after all the other Nordic neighbors, which is a shame for a country that claims to be a champion of equality of the sexes.
The social democrat, former finance minister of the previous government led by Stefan Löfven, was only supported by a minority in parliament, which was expected.
