With the participation of Syria, the 89th session of the General Assembly of the International Criminal Police Organization “Interpol” was held in the Turkish city of Istanbul.
The Ministry of Interior stated in a statement that SANA received a copy of today that a delegation from the ministry represented Syria in the three-day meetings, during which a head of the organization, his assistants and members of the Executive Committee were elected.
More than 160 countries participated in the meeting, including 15 countries at the level of ministers, 9 countries at the level of deputy ministers, 4 countries at the level of advisers, in addition to 51 security directors, including 17 in international organizations.
