The deputy of Gironde ex-LREM Benoit Simian (Liberties and Territories), implicated by his wife in the context of a heated divorce, is sent back to correctional for "
harassment
", AFP learned Thursday, November 25 from the prosecution from Bordeaux.
The deputy will be tried on March 24, 2022, said the prosecution, confirming information from Mediapart.
The deputy for Médoc, confirming this summons to AFP, denounced "
the clear intention to harm me
" on the part of his wife in the context of a divorce procedure still in progress.

In December 2020, the office of the National Assembly rejected the request for the waiver of immunity formulated by the Bordeaux prosecutor's office, considering that Benoit Simian had “
