The Russian Defense Ministry announced that it had successfully launched a Soyuz 2.1B missile carrying a military vehicle into outer space.
The information office of the Ministry of Defense said in a statement that the missile carrying the military vehicle was launched this morning from the Plesetsk space base.
The statement indicated that the missile carries a spacecraft for purposes of interest to the Russian Defense Ministry.
