Three fraudsters have robbed an elderly Fürtherin of her savings.
The men pretended to be craftsmen.
Fürth - Three false craftsmen entered the apartment of an elderly woman in the southern part of Fürth on Tuesday afternoon (November 23) under a pretext.
The men stole the woman's savings.
The police are now looking for witnesses, as they write in a press release.
Fürth: Fraudsters pretended to be electricians
A stranger rang the doorbell of the later injured party in Leyher Strasse at around 2.30 p.m.
He said he had to check the phone and the sockets in her apartment, whereupon the lady allowed him to enter.
A little later, two other supposed craftsmen went into the apartment.
While one of the men was distracting the lady, the other two managed to locate her wallet.
This contained the savings of the elderly princess.
The trio then fled with their prey in an unknown direction.
The lady could not give an exact description of the three suspects.
Fürth: Police are looking for witnesses
The specialist commissioner of the Fürth criminal police secured the traces on site.
The further investigations are carried out by the fraud commissioner of the Nuremberg Criminal Police and asks witnesses who can provide relevant information to contact the Central Franconian Criminal Police Service on (0911) 21 12 33 33.
