Indersdorf

- The Niederroth footballers want to restore their main square. Like the current course in Indersdorf, it is neither playable in winter nor in heavy rainy weather. To change that, the association is planning to install a drainage system and a pop-up sprinkler system. Without the drainage system, functioning gaming operations could not be maintained, according to the grant application. At the same time, the club also wants to purchase a robot lawn mower - a system in which appropriate cabling must also be laid in the lawn. The cost of the entire project: 69 487 euros.

According to the guidelines of the market, the subsidy is basically 25 percent of the eligible costs - but since from the point of view of the administration the case was the same as for the artificial turf pitch in Indersdorf a few weeks ago (we reported), they suggested a subsidy of 65 percent . Like the artificial turf field in Indersdorf.

And that's why a fundamental discussion broke out in the local council. All councilors agreed that the project should be funded, but not about the amount. Local councilors like Peter Keller (FW), Hans Lachner (CSU) and Florian Ebner (EHW) feared precedents that would be created. "Then everyone comes and wants 65 percent" (Keller), "We'll open something that we can no longer slow down" (Lachner) and: "If a shooting club then wants a new shooting range, we should say you get it it's not because you're not a football club - we can't do that ”(Ebner), were sentences that came up in the discussion. Above all, it was important to you and others that the purchase of the lawnmower should be viewed separately from the rest of the project and accordingly less subsidized.

Treasurer Philipp Blumenschein explained why he sees the plan as a whole project and why he had set a subsidy rate of 65 percent - “after all, here too - like with the artificial turf field, it is about keeping the game going, the pitch again in winter can be used and the volunteer work is valued ”.

He advocated treating similar cases in the same way.

Ebner contradicted this: “The artificial turf pitch is a project for the whole community, the Niederroth or the Hirtlbacher can also play here.

This is not the case with Niederrother Platz.

I'm sorry, but it's not the same for me. "

But Simon Reichlmair (CSU) also pleaded urgently for the cases to be treated equally.

“The fact that such issues were put on an emotional level happened four weeks ago when you declared that you can't be against it, because otherwise you wouldn't appreciate volunteering.

But then you can't do that here either, so you have to agree here too. "

The first of several votes showed that the application in this form (all three issues to be funded with 65 percent) was rejected - very close with 12:11 votes.

After further voting rounds, it was finally clear: the councils agreed to subsidize the drainage system and the pop-up irrigation system with 65 percent, but the purchase of the robotic lawnmower only with 25 percent.
