Hundreds of Jordanians demonstrated today in Amman to protest against the signing of the Declaration of Intent that took place last week between Jordan, the UAE and the Israeli occupation entity.
Jordan's Petra news agency reported that the participants in the demonstration called on the government to cancel the Jordanian-Israeli peace agreement, cancel the document, and search for other sources of water.
The document stipulates entering into negotiations to study the feasibility of establishing a clean renewable energy plant in Jordan for the purpose of transferring it to the occupied territories in return for establishing a water desalination plant in the Mediterranean to supply Jordan with about 200 million cubic meters of desalinated water annually.
