With the conclusion of the autumn campaign from the tree promotion program of the city of Freising, the last of 100 trees grown in the region were handed over at the weekly market.

- under the motto "trees of the future - rooted in our city", the city has subsidized the purchase of regionally grown and frost-hard fruit trees as well as climate-adapted future trees once a year since 2019.
The project
The idea and goal of the funding program is to ensure permanent, good greening, also with the support of private garden owners.
Thanks to funding of 50 to 70 percent, apple, pear and mirabelle plum trees were offered for 15 euros each, walnut trees for 30 euros each, and copper rock pears, Japanese clove cherries and ornamental apples in various varieties for 45 euros each.
The half and long trunks were ready to be picked up from the market after they had been ordered in advance.
