Today, during the visit of a high-level Slovenian economic delegation to the Syrian pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Syria and Slovenia agreed to seek to hold workshops to enhance cooperation and develop relations between them.
The Slovenian delegation, headed by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology Andrej Koz, the Commissioner-General of the Slovenian pavilion Matek Volk and a number of members of the work team, toured the various sections of the Syrian pavilion, including the Commercial Partners Section, which hosts a group of Syrian companies and presents the latest economic and commercial opportunities offered by these companies.
During their escort to the visiting delegation, Eng. Khaled Al-Shama'a, Director of the Syrian Pavilion, and Manaf Arnous, Commercial Coordinator, presented the commercial and cultural activities held by the pavilion.
This visit comes within the framework of the wide interest in Syria's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, where its pavilion witnessed the visit of a number of delegations from countries since the launch of the exhibition's activities at the beginning of this October.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Ghassan Abbas, Syrian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Commissioner-General of the Syrian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai presented souvenirs expressing Syrian traditional industries.
