The Alpine berlinetta has not said its last word.
While the French manufacturer is working on “the after”, the switch to electric planned for 2025, it continues to maintain the desirability of its sports car.
For the 2022 vintage, the A110 berlinetta sees its range completely revamped.
Alongside the standard model delivering 252 horsepower, engineers have beefed up the “S” version.
The most powerful version of the range now boasts 300 horsepower at 6,300 rpm, a gain of 8 hp, thanks to a new calibration of the 1.8 turbo 4-cylinder engine.
The torque takes the opportunity to gain 20 Nm to 340 Nm, from 2,400 to 6,000 rpm.
It is known by design that the Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission cannot handle higher torque.

The 300 horsepower version is available in two finishes: GT or S. As its label indicates, the first is “grand touring”, playing on elegance with its specific rims and leather comfort seats with blue stitching.
Its standard equipment also includes the Park Assist system coupled with the reversing camera.

Based on 18-inch black rims, the A110 S version is the sportiest of the range.
It receives a sports exhaust and a sports chassis passing through recalibrated springs and anti-roll bars, a specific gear geometry, coil springs 50% stiffer, recalibrated shock absorbers and a reduced ride height of 4 mm.
By opting as an option for the aerodynamic kit increasing the downforce by 141 kilos and resting on a blade under the front bumper and a carbon rear spoiler, we have a berlinetta at unbridled top speed at 275 km / h, on the last report.

Inside, Sabelt buckets draped in a mixed black leather-microfiber coating and orange stitching reinforce the sporty positioning of the “S”. As an option, this model can also receive a biton body, combining the black roof and the orange shell.
Finally, the 2022 vintage is accompanied by a new multimedia system with a 7-inch touch screen, compatible with Apple Carplay and AndroidAuto. It has voice control to control the iOS or Google assistant of the smartphone or launch the Google Online Search contextual address search. Standard on the S version but optional on the other models, the Alpine Telemetrics menu provides real-time access to technical data on turbo pressure, gearbox temperature, torque, power, angle of the steering wheel, and of the accelerometer. The integrated chronograph measures and records performance during track sessions, for example.
