Asklepios Kliniken and Verdi come to an agreement in the wage dispute

The Asklepios Kliniken Brandenburg and the Verdi union have reached an agreement in the collective bargaining dispute. Both sides announced this on Friday evening. "After a total of eight rounds of negotiations, the breakthrough was finally achieved today," said negotiators Daniela Wolarz-Weigel from Asklepios and Ralf Franke from Verdi in a joint statement.

Brandenburg / Havel - A "fair compromise" had been found.

According to the information, this includes an increase of up to 7.5 percent of the wage and various allowances.

A tax-free corona bonus of up to 1200 euros is to be paid out before Christmas.

The collective agreement has a term of 33 months and is to apply to around 1,300 non-medical employees from April 1, 2022, explained Franke.

There is a separate agreement for doctors at the three clinic locations in Brandenburg (Havel), Teuplitz and Lübben.

For example, a general care allowance for caregivers of 60 euros per month is to be introduced.

In addition, an allowance for alternating shifts of 110 euros per month from April 2022 and of 155 euros per month from April 2023 is planned.
