WHO meets on new variant virus
The WHO held a special meeting on November 26 to evaluate the impact of the new variant virus on vaccines and current treatments, and whether it should be classified as a "variant of interest" or "variant of interest" ( variants of concern).
According to the WHO, there are currently about 100 gene sequences of the new variant virus strain that have been notified. The initial analysis showed that this strain has undergone multiple mutations and must be further studied.
