Memmingen - Vandalism and property damage are increasing.
Drunk, out of boredom or because it's "fun", the rage of destruction is given free rein.
On Wednesday (November 24th, 2021) the window of a furniture store broke when two young people hit it with their fists.
At lunchtime, the Memmingen police station received a notification that the window of a furniture store in Mittereschweg in Memmingen had been smashed.
The juvenile perpetrators were detained on site by an employee until the police arrived.
The investigation revealed that two 15-year-old youths hit the shop window with their fists, which then broke.
The evidence was clear, one of them injured his hand and the other filmed the operation.
The amount of damage is currently estimated at around 2,000 euros.
Both are now expecting a complaint for property damage.
