After a last winter thwarted by the Covid, Disneyland Paris is relaunching the dream machine for the end of the year holidays, with a program that stretches until Sunday, January 9.

Almost all of the park reopened on June 17, with a health protocol providing for passes, wearing a mask and physical distancing.

Disneyland is making a big comeback with tradition to satisfy a once again Franco-international clientele, with the great return of Europeans and Americans, with Asians still missing.

In Disney Park, the 24-meter conifer that has been sitting on Town Square since November 10 sets the tone: all in sparkle.

"We worked on medallions and garlands to achieve a real festival of light at night

,

"

enthuses Emmanuel Lenormand, director.

In contrast to previous years, a sound and light emerges in a loop every 15 minutes, with three different programs.

"This also helps to avoid congestion with too fixed schedules

,

" he

adds.

78 natural fir trees are spread throughout the park, while the festival of light and artificial snow - which falls 18 times a day - continues on Main Street, in the direction of the castle.

The highlight of the period, the Christmas parade has been completely revisited, with some adjustments specific to the period. Singers no longer pass, for example, in the crowd. Without altering the magic.

"It's a totally original show, while keeping the benchmarks, since you find all the Disney characters, including the 8 princesses"

, insists Emmanuel Lenormand. Each of the 5 tanks, including that of Santa Claus, has its own tree which can be up to 7 meters high. The parade, which snorts twice a day, offers a totally different face at night

"with a luminous aspect of the costumes like floats completely new"

, promises the director.
