Nuremberg - On Saturday (December 4th) the A9 between the Schnaittach and Lauf / Hersbruck junctions will be completely closed.

In the direction of Munich *, the block will take effect from around 7 p.m. and will probably last until Sunday (December 5) at 5 a.m.

In the opposite lane towards Berlin, traffic will be interrupted on December 5 from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day, reports

.

Traffic towards Munich will be diverted via the U38 during this time.

In the direction of Berlin, the diversion takes place via the U63.

Nuremberg: Restored steel arch allowed to "fly"

The reason for the closure is the steel arch of a pedestrian and cycle path overpass over the A9 between Schnaittach and Kleinbellhofen.

It has been repaired next to the road since July and must now be lifted back into its original position above the motorway.

To do this, it is swiveled in one piece over the A9, which makes it necessary to completely block both lanes.
