The reason for the closure is the steel arch of a pedestrian and cycle path overpass over the A9 between Schnaittach and Kleinbellhofen.
It has been repaired next to the road since July and must now be lifted back into its original position above the motorway.
To do this, it is swiveled in one piece over the A9, which makes it necessary to completely block both lanes.
